By using Tweedehandse Bruidjie's website, the following rules and conditions apply:

  • Only dresses, outfits or accessories located in South Africa will be allowed on our website.
  • The list of any dress / product on our Boutique does not guarantee its definite sale.
  • Although Tweedehandse Bruidjie advertises the given product, the seller remains responsible for completing the transaction, unless otherwise stipulated.
  • The seller agrees through the list of the product that it is their property, and that they own the right to sell it. Tweedehandse Bruidjie cannot be held responsible for any illegal transaction as set out above.
  • The seller and visitor give Tweedehandse Bruidjie permission to use and store the information provided to us. The seller also agrees that their contact details will be used for potential buyers to get in touch.
  • The seller agrees to notify Tweedehandse Bruidjie immediately when the product is sold, so that advertising can be halted. If Tweedehandse Bruidjie is not notified of the product's sales within 30 days, the seller will be penalized with a R200 fine.
  • No fee is refundable in the following cases:
    • If the product is sold before it is advertised by Tweedehandse Bruidjie.
    • If the product is sold by any other entity.
    • If the product has already been advertised by Tweedehandse Bruidjie. 
    • Deposits placed on any product to reserve the product are non-refundable.
    • No product purchased is refundable / exchangeable.
    • The package must be used within 6 months from payment before it automatically expires. If not used within this period, the package is forfeited.
  • In the case of commission packages / dresses on which commission is payable as stipulated; the following applies:
    • The commission is payable if the dress is sold on ANY of our platforms, whether Facebook Page, Facebook Group, Instagram, Whatsapp or our Website. The commission is therefore still payable if the dress is sold in a personal capacity on any of our platforms.
    • The seller on commission package agrees to notify Tweedehandse Bruidjie within seven (7) days if the product has sold successfully so that the commission due can be paid within these seven (7) days.
    • Commission payments not made after thirty (30) days after sale will be held responsible for legal costs due to debt collection.
    • No product in this case will be marked as sold / removed from our platforms without the commission due being paid.
    • Tweedehandse Bruidjie uses digital analysis to keep track of any interest and communication related to the product.
    • In the event that the product is sold by another entity other than Tweedehandse Bruidjie's platforms, proof of this must be submitted.
  • In the event that our website or social platforms are out of order, Tweedehandse Bruidjie cannot be held responsible; due to no fixed period associated with the product's advertising.
  • In the case of hiring, the agreement between the bride and owner is private and in its own capacity, and does not include Tweedehandse Bruidjie. The rental is at your own risk.
  • Tweedehandse Bruidjie cannot be held responsible for any inaccurate sizes, descriptions, colors, damage, etc. provided by the seller.
  • Tweedehandse Bruidjie may under no circumstances be held responsible for any damage, loss, theft, or defect caused by any transaction on any of our platforms.
  • All movement, communication and transactions on any of our platforms are strictly at your own risk.

With all dresses purchased through our physical Bridal Shop, the following rules and conditions apply:

  • The dresses in our shop are mainly second-hand, and are therefore sold on foot (as is) in their current state.
  • No dress is exchangeable, or refundable after purchases.
  • Purchases are at your own risk - Second hand Bride can not be held responsible for possible damage, cleaning etc. after purchases. of any dress.
  • No dress will be handed over without full payment.
  • All movement, communication and transactions in our store are strictly at your own risk.
  • Secondhand Bruidjie is under no obligation to resell a dress purchased from us after the time.
